Hyman Albritton

Hyman AlbrittonPrior to launching Genesis as co-founder and senior partner, Hyman Albritton garnered extensive experience in business and human resources in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.

Career Highlights

Mr. Albritton’s career trajectory is impressive and includes Fortune 500 as well as small-to mid-size businesses and organizations, including executive positions at:

Sears, Roebuck and Co., where he engineered the company’s diversity recruiting initiatives, bridging business partnerships with organizations such as the National Black MBA Association , The Society of Hispanic MBAs, The National Association of Black Accountants and other female and minority organizations.

Lane Bryant, Inc., a division of Limited Brands, where he served as director of human resources for store operations and played a vital role in introducing a variety of top grade initiatives such as leadership development and an innovative performance management system.

Regardless of industry sector, as either consultant or employee, Mr. Albritton has established a reputation of providing value-added services to companies and organizations. He has produced positive results for clients in a number of industries.

Community Activities

Mr. Albritton also gives generously of his time to a variety of community organizations including most recently serving as the chairman for the board of directors for the Community Property Development Corporation. This not-for-profit organization collaborates with businesses and organizations to provide a variety of services aimed at supporting Columbus residents and communities.

Kathryn Tarantino

Kathryn TarantinoPrior to launching Genesis as co-founder and senior partner, Kathryn Tarantino had established an unparalleled career in human resources within corporate America. A native of Ohio, Ms. Tarantino transferred to Columbus to serve in the position of Executive Director, Brand Partners.

Career Highlights

Ms. Tarantino’s experience and expertise has ultimately helped establish Genesis Group as one of the premier strategic business consultancies in the Midwest. Her previous experience includes:

Director, McDonald’s Corporation, Human Resources, where she honed her skills in organizational analysis, operational and strategic plan design.

Executive Director, Field Human Resources, Brand Partner, McDonald’s Corporation, for emerging markets, where she specialized in employee and labor relations. Her strategic skills resulted in significantly reducing management and associate turnover.
With the building of the Genesis Group consultancy, Ms. Tarantino has continued to develop significant expertise in labor relations in both union and non-union organizations. Her strategic work in “employee branding” has been recognized in a variety of industry sectors including financial services, food services and not-for-profit organizations.

Community Activities

The mother of two children, Ms. Tarantino still finds time to engage in volunteer activities to build the strength and structure of her community. Most recently, Ms. Tarantino has served as a member of the United Way Foundation, a member of the nominating committee of the Kellogg’s/Cardinal Health-sponsored World of Children. Previously, she served on the board of directors of Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Charities, Kansas City.
